What is Drunkle Pat?
Drunkle Pat is a comedy app for Apple Watch and iPhone. You build a cartoon buddy and pick a venue like a dive bar, night club or frat house. Wear the watch and your normal sips count on your wrist, or tilt your phone like you're taking a sip. Pat sips along and works through eight stages, from Sober to Passed out, with 58 dance moves and stunts. Friends nearby can join the same dance floor in Party mode. One purchase, Open Bar, $2.99, unlocks everything.
Is Drunkle Pat a drinking game?
No. There are no rules, dares or challenges to drink, and you never need a real drink to play. Pat does the drinking so you can watch the comedy. The app does not measure, track or encourage drinking.
Do I need an Apple Watch?
No. The iPhone app works on its own. The watch is the hands-free way to play: leave the phone in your pocket and your normal sips count.
Which Apple Watch models work?
Any Apple Watch that runs watchOS 9 or later, which is Series 4 and newer, every SE and every Ultra, paired with an iPhone on iOS 16 or later.
Does the watch work when my phone is not nearby?
Yes. The watch keeps counting sips on its own and hands them to your phone as soon as the two are back in range.
Is the watch app included?
Yes. The watch app comes with the free download and follows Pat through the first stages. Open Bar, the one $2.99 purchase on your iPhone, unlocks the rest of the night on your wrist too.
Do I need a real drink to use Drunkle Pat?
No. Wear the watch and sip anything, water and soda included, or raise your phone to your mouth like you're taking a sip. Pat takes one either way.
Does the app measure how much I've had to drink?
No. Drunkle Pat is a comedy app. It does not measure, estimate or track alcohol, blood alcohol content or impairment, and nothing in it should ever be treated as an indication of sobriety or fitness to drive.
How does the Apple Watch app work?
Open Drunkle Pat on your watch and take a sip: raise your wrist to your mouth, hold it for about a second and lower it. You feel a click for every sip and a longer tap when Pat reaches a new stage. You can also tap the watch face to add a sip. The watch shows your buddy's face, the stage name and the 8 stage dots, and it stays in sync with the phone.
How does Party mode work?
Turn on Party, and friends nearby who also have Party on show up on your dance floor, on the same Wi-Fi or close by. Everyone dances to the same beat and can send preset lines and emojis. Nobody can type messages, it all goes phone to phone with no server, and you can hide or report anyone from Who's here.
Can Pat dance to my own music?
Yes. Go to Settings, Soundtrack, My Music and pick songs from your phone's Music library. The songs need to be downloaded to the phone.
What does the purchase unlock?
One purchase, Open Bar, $2.99: every venue and home room, the full wardrobe, all 8 stages, the watch app and hangover mode. Yours forever, no subscription.
Does Drunkle Pat collect my data?
No. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking and no servers. Your buddy stays on your device, except in Party mode, where it goes straight to the phones next to you and never to us. Purchases are handled by Apple.
Is there an Android version?
iPhone and Apple Watch come first. Android and Wear OS are planned.
